SIGMA OF ADPI ALUMNAE

Since 1912, Sigma has been representing both Alpha Delta Pi and the University of Illinois with pride. The tradition continues with strong collegiate and alumnae women working together to strengthen our sisterhood.

We are excited for 2024 to bring the 100th anniversary of the Sigma Housing Corporation, the reopening of 1202 W. Nevada and the celebration and dedication of our sisterhood and home.

NOW OR NEVER CAMPAIGN

Our Now or Never campaign is in full swing to make our beloved Pi Palace structurally sound for another 100 years. As of January 2024, our Sigma sisters (plus some parents and friends!) have successfully raised an outstanding $600,000 toward Sigma’s preservation project!

This milestone means the preservation project can move to Phase III.

• Phase I: Alumnae rallied to secure a commercial loan, closing on it in September. Additional cash was needed to access the financing available in the loan, and you stepped up.
• Phase II: By December, alumnae unlocked $2.5 million in financing, resulting in a robust infrastructure upgrade with new HVAC, plumbing, windows, and more.
• Phase III: Funding for essential amenities such as beds, tables, chairs, and dedicated study spaces for our undergraduate women. We envision creating an environment that not only meets their practical needs but also reflects the values and ADPi sisterhood on campus.

We can make a lasting impact on the lives of our current and future sisters, ensuring they have a home that nurtures personal growth, academic success, and sisterhood bonds that last a lifetime. Our alumnae are truly behind the success of our Sigma Chapter's Housing preservation project. Together, we are creating a legacy at 1202 W. Nevada that will endure for generations to come.
